Research Equipment

The Neuromechanics Group has dedicated research space within the Laboratory for Neuroengineering, located on the third floor of the U. A. Whitaker Building on the Georgia Tech campus.

Human Movement Setup

We have a custom postural perturbation device built by Factory Automation Systems that can apply linear perturbations to the support surface ( an identical one has been made for Dr. Paul Stapley at McGill). The device is instrumented with two AMTI OR6-6 force plates.

In addition we have an 32-channel telemetered Konigsburg EMG system, and a 8-camera Vicon 612 motion capture system.
