On the Art and Craft of Doing Science: Lessons from Star-Nosed Moles, Electric Eels, and Zombie Roaches
The School of Biological Sciences Spring 2025 Seminar Series presents Kenneth Catania
How are discoveries made? Where do scientists get their ideas? How do you fail better as a scientist? How do you design an experiment? Can artistic inspiration lead the way to discovery? Each scientist may have their own unique answers to these questions. I will give one scientist’s perspective while describing discoveries in star-nosed moles, electric eels, and zombie-making wasps.
