Internal Funding

The Neuro Next Initiative is accepting funding proposals for community events! In support of our mission, we are prioritizing proposals for events that connect scholars across units on campus.

To submit an event proposal, please send a brief description (less than 300 words) of the proposed event or activity along with a budget sketch and list of administrative support needs to neuro@gatech.edu, allowing at least two weeks for a response.

Guidelines

Examples of activities that can be funded include (but are not limited to):

  • Workshops
  • Student Enrichment
  • Professional development
  • Outreach
  • Community Building

Successful proposals should align with the mission of the Neuro Next Initiative. In particular, while proposals can involve activities connected to academic programming, traditional course development is unlikely to be supported by this interdisciplinary research initiative. Additionally, salary support or extra compensation for activities cannot be supported unless the activity is very clearly outside the typical duties already included in someone's existing funding/salary.
